Epox 9NPA+ Ultra set up ?

Hi, I am just about to order a Epox 9NPA+ Ultra and wanted to know if there any problems setting it up i.e. what drivers should be loaded etc and memory issues etc any tips on setting it up greatly appreciated, will be using either venice 3200 E6 stepping or and opetron 146, many thanks.

I had absolutely no issues setting mine up. The board was a dream to use.

Yeah, mine's probably the least finnicky board I've ever used - everything worked perfectly out of the box on the first boot (man is that a good feeling). Remember that goes to 1.5V Vcore by default, which should be fine, but if you're not planning to overclock you can safely step it down for some lower temperatures.

I have this board and I inquired about drivers, etc. This is what I was instructed:

1. Get the latest BIOS

2. Get nVidia's chipset driver 6.70 if using XP.

3. Install your video card's latest drivers.

4. Don't install the nVidia Active Armor firewall

Hi, thanks for that just what I needed to know as I had read some place about active armour and was not sure will also have it flashed to the latest bios in the store before they send it out thanks again.
