Can anyone tell me if this MB can handle 4 usb ports as it is shipped from newegg? The case I am planning on putting it in has 4 ports 2 on front 2 on back.

it can handle 4 usb ports. it has 2 built into mb. they give you a header with 2 more(pci slot). pick up an antec easy usb and plug it into the usb header and wallah usb ports...the antec devise will sit in a front drive bay..14.99 at compusa and it is compatible with this mb

I got both Abit KR7A-RAID and EPOX 8H7A+ .. I have to say Epox is a waaayyy better board, It's 100% stable with the latest best bios (1/16/2002) and boots up way faster then Abit. Not to mention I can overclock 50Mhz more in CPU speed then Abit, and can achieve much higher Sandra mem score without any physical mods.... Abit has disapointed me once again.

How can you tell how many Newegg has in stock? I have seen posts saying "only xxx left", but can't find that option on their site.

Just got my motherboard, it was definitely not new as witnessed by the crumpled antistatic bag, book, cables etc. It's a 2.0 version with N+ BIOS. I suggest everyone take a look at these motherboards. I didn't put it into my computer yet, but I'm about to do so

Mobo running AMD XP 1500+ without any problem for last 2 hours now.

the USB and IDE cables were still in the plastic. not been opened.

such good deal.. running 1500+ around 40C..
I installed sk6 at first but they were so loud.. sk6 ran around 36C
But i installed artic cooler... i am not sure this hsf is recommanded by AMD.. but.. i guess 40C and 45C(3dmark) much quite now.

I've looked around and it seems that newegg has about the best price on amd xp's cpu's. Unless you feel like taking a risk with some no name company...its not worth the 5 bux...neweggs service is excellent..

I remember last year right before Iwill came out with the new KK266 plus borad, Newegg had a bunch of the refurbished KK266 board for sale, some one also mentioned that the refurbished board actually came from the manufacture, as they were trying to clean out some inventory....don't know if this is the same case......
