Look all I know is that 1. I've used a few epox based systems and they were very unreliable and 2. I've heard many many complaints from people about their epox based systems and how they're crap. I find it funny that you defend EPOX like as if they're PC Power and cooling or some other high end brand :roll:
In response to the first comment, obviously your reading comprehension skills are pretty weak...you posted in the general forum word for word:
When ever I start up my computer it says "disk boot error" and when I hit the reset button on the front, it boots up normally. While I'm able to use the computer perfectly fine, I want to find out a way I can make it so that the computer doesn't do this every time I start up. It's an ABIT nforce 2 motherboard, the HDD runs fine but I'm still not sure why it does this every time I boot the machine.
Then when called on it in this forum you make up some tall tale about it being a Vaio and a Dell...obviously you are either in denial, suffer from short term memory loss like in memento, or just want to see more knowledgable than you actually are...
As to your second point so basically you are going off hersay when you slam epox, have no first hand experience with this board and have none with others you recommend....gotta love the net when someone with zero credibility chimes in as if they have a clue.
I own a 9NPA+ Ultra and while it isn't perfect it isn't nearly as bad as you make it out to be, something that is confirmed by the Editors choice it recieved from Anand and the many other posts by owners here and elsewhere...DFI makes a great board but if you haven't heard of people with problems and or hardware pickyness then you must have your head buried in the sand or stuck up your.....
