Epox Support

I was surprised to learn that makers of my EP-9NPA3 Ultra motherboard don't have an online manual for this board. I was even more surprised to learn that the other manuals require a User ID & PW to download from their FTP. The straw that broke the camel's back was learning that after registering my product and receiving my User ID & PW, I was still unable to download any manuals. /sigh

Is this par for Epox support? If not, I'll keep jumping through Epox's hoops. (My goal is to learn what CPUs, memory and max mem this board supports.)

Epox is dead. They are no longer in business.

Part of the design engineer team has been bought up by EVGA.

I have an Epox 9NPA+Ultra, still soldiering on nicely, though the mobo battery recently died and I have to reconfig the bios if I switch off the PS

I still have the manual somewhere, be happy to scan pages for you.

That's very kind of you to offer, but no ty. If you happen to know the memory type supported, max memory and CPU socket(s) supported that would be great. Otherwise, I'll just dig around on Google. Ty again.

Wow, been a while since I heard the name Epox. The first PC I ever built had an Epox board, and it was great. Right up until a couple of capacitors exploded >< But that was about 5 years or so down the track.

I had an Epox EP-9NPA+ULTRA, similar to yours. With the last available bios update it supported all the AMD socket 939 processors including Opterons. I ran it with an Opteron 170 and 2GB Crucial Ballistix PC3200 DDR ram.
If your MB has the last available bios from Epox for it than it should support the same processors as mine did.

You can also go to Crucial's site and to find out what memory your MB supports.
