Epson 1400 Photo Printer $129.99 BB YMMV

I got home a little while ago from the Worcester MA Best Buy and they have the Epson 1400 photo printer on clearence for $129.99 (normally $299) The clearence tag was printed today 5/23/08.

The employee says that the clearence price is company wide, sadly all they had was the display in stock so he checked the other stores in the area and they were sold out as well. (the clearence price did pop up when he scanned the bar code)

I was able to get the manager to sell me the display model and got an additional $30 off the price because it did not come with ink or a manual.

Screaming price for a 13x19 printer. Good Luck!

True... But I am going to be using the Piezography Inks to do B&w prints so the epson inks are not needed.

Epson Clogmasters!!!

Ive had 3 epsons, each one craps out in under a year and clogs up. Id never buy anything from this company...Btw, My Canon is going on 2 years now with no issues.

It's too bad you can't follow operating insructions. People are always asking me what kind of printer I have that generates such phenomenal photos. They can't believe it when I tell them it's a 7-year old Epson Photo 875DC (for which I paid $60 on clearance).

There is a good reason that high-end camera stores feature Epson printers: the output is better than any competitor's. I wish I could justify upgrading to a newer, wide-format model but as long as it keeps going, I'll have to be satisfied with my trusty 875.

I have had a few Epson's and never had a problem. I had (still have it in a closet somewhere) 777i and a R200 with a continuous ink supply. Both have been great. The 1400 is really a good printer if you are ok with dye ink. That is why I am getting a R1900 more money but pigment ink.

The sku from my reciept is 8339531 then there is a number after it c11c655001
