I didn't particularly care for Equilibrium..apparently I'm the only one.

I don't think she's more than mildly attractive and think matrix 1 was better. Equilibrium was a decent B flick at best. I'd rate it about the same as The Island... in other words, not very highly.

I've seen people say this movie sucks so much then others rant and rave about it, makes me wonder if it's even worth the bother of watching or not.

Only has a 34% at Rotten Tomatoes also, which isn't very reassuring.

Its horrible...i tried watching it after rave reviews from my friends...complete utter garbage. its like they took 1984 (the book) and bastardized it with stupid "Gun-Kata"

I just got finished watching this movie for the first time and really was not impressed whatsoever with it.

It was just over the top fight scenes and the whole movie was nothing original and nearly blatant rip offs of classic movies to boot.

Just slick looking filming, good acting from Christian Bale and sub par plot.

I saw it with no expectations one day (friend had just bought it)
by the end of it neither one of us liked it at all- had a lot of promise but the end half was just terrible IMO
