Ergotron NeoFlex LCD Arm $23.04 @ OD (Clearance)

After getting 3 LCD arms for $25 flat each, one of the cashier told me that he can order more from the manufacturer at $25 each. This is San Francisco, California.

Really? where in SF? When I was looking the nearest to the bay area I could find these was Stockton. I had no desire to go to Stockton but I could find something to do in San Francisco.

I can try asking him again if he's willing to order a bunch for that price. Then i'll get back onto this forum and post. I'll head out tomorrow and let you know. From what I see on the shelf, the price is $81.99. So it's a great deal. So far I've gotten 2 for myself, 2 for friend, and more for everyone I guess. hehe

Ps. I also got 2x Seagate 320GB SATA 16MB for about $75 inc/ tax. Don't ask me how, read and study their policies. Find the hole and you'll win eventually for all retailers.

So I checked, and there are several of these NeoFlex LCD Arms left around the Bay Area Best Buy. Unfortunately, both of San Francisco's Best Buy are out, Daly City (Colma) is out, and both San Mateo Best Buys are out.

I don't think BB will PM unless you can find local stock at a OD, in which case just buy them at OD.

All I know is they will not order them any longer for future purchases. Whatever is on the shelf or instock are the last ones. For certain occasions, they may want to order them from the manufacturer for more, but I highly doubt it. Going into BB and asking for a discount would confuse them further, because they have no obligations to do so and there aren't any left elsewhere. Vacaville, Richmond, and other north-northern cities have it, I checked. Better chance is if you have a receipt showing the discounted price, then they'll more likely give you that price. Really "depends" on who is helping you at the checkout.

I've tried getting the LCD arms at that price, but everytime an unknowledgeable worker comes saying "We can't offer you price because it's a clearance/we need the advertisement/no pricematching but 10%/and NO!" How many of them do you actually need? I can try getting a few more, but not gauranttee.

monoprice.com has this arm for $20.46. Description says:

Swivels left and right up to 190 degrees
Upwards and downwards up to 20 degrees
Max. extension: 25.39 inches
Ideal space saver: folded flat to the wall

No picture though, anyone know anything about this item?

Are they heavy/bulky? I haven't seen a package on them, guess I'll have to look up the weight. Some one did mention they had steel in the construction.

Another question though, I looked at the diagram last night...is their a minimum width that the lip of the desk it connects to has to be? My desk is fairly thin cheap partical board junk. I could probably add a piece of plywood or something if needed though.

I can't quite say how much one weighs, but I'd say the box with all components weigh about 10-12lbs probably.
I would recommend you put something on the bottom where you turn the knob so that it doesn't mark the desk.

I do have a couple laying around as well... purchased 3, and was gonna use 2 for a dual setup... with a Dell 20" but ended up getting the 24" Soyo so I'm only using 1 at the moment.
