There are dozens upon dozens of videos of police misconduct over the past two days. Many of the “riots” only became riots after police using force on peaceful protestors. Just about a mile from my house is something that I believe is a perfect example of how fucked up our economy is right now. A line of brand new luxury apartment buildings, mostly vacant with signs out front saying "first month's rent free and all deposits waived on approved credit," next door to a homeless camp.When the system has been designed to keep most people to stretched their financial limits for the unnecessary benefit of the top 1%, people are going to be unhappy. Now introduce the pandemic, 30% unemployment... and now this.
