I am saying that, with how the country is right now, that his kids would do a better job at beating a Democrat right now. I dislike Trump, and also dislike Harris, but not Biden as much.

I feel if Biden doesn’t finish his term, due to age or sickness, Dems would have an extremely hard time beating a Trump.

Ah, I see... I'm not sure if I'd agree, though! The 'problem' is that Eric and Ivanka have less charisma and cachet. And Harris, as imperfect as she is, would still represent that appeal to compassion and competence (especially for anyone who isn't white or male).

I wouldn't be surprised if the junior Trumps got a large chunk of the GOP base, but they'd have a harder time convincing people in the middle after their dad's work... and you'd better believe the Dems will mobilize against another Trump.

I'm more worried about a Donald Trump run in 2024. I think the closest we get to a concession speech this year is "the Dems may have stolen this election, but we're going to keep fighting, and I'll kick them out again in 2024!"

After what he did during these last 4 if people are actually that stupid, and I believe that they are, then democracy as we know it is probably finished. Look back to how Hitler slowly took over Germany before WW2 and then centralized power unto himself after he was elected. Trump is in the process of trying to do the very same thing.

I also think it may be naive of him to assume he'll have a better shot in 2024 given that the pandemic, economy and international relations are all likely to have improved under Biden's watch, even if he can only take small credit.
