She's got papparazzi stalking her in a gated community so she called 911 (like the police told her to do), and almost breaks down to the operator. Poor girl.

I did nothing wrong and I'm fvcking being treated like britney spears!

UPDATE 10/2/09: BUSTED!

TMZ has learned an arrest has been made in the Erin Andrews Peeping Tom case -- the one in which the ESPN reporter was secretly videotaped walking around naked in various hotel rooms.... and the suspect has been charged with the federal crime of felony stalking.

48-year-old Michael David Barrett was arrested at Chicago O'Hare International Airport tonight.

According to the FBI, Barrett allegedly stalked Erin "with the intent to harass, to place under surveillance with intent to harass and intimidate, and to cause substantial emotional distress to a person in another state."

The videotapes surfaced in July. At least six clips showed Erin walking around two different hotel rooms in the nude, and were shot with a peephole camera. It was virtually impossible to tell when or where the videos were shot.

Andrews' lawyer, Marshall Grossman from the law firm Bingham & McCutchen tell TMZ Barrett allegedly contacted hotels in the various venues "where Andrews was working in order to locate her and her room number and some of the hotels revealed that information, permitting him to target her." Grossman says Barrett would remove the peepholes from the doors and insert tiny cameras devices to secretly film her.

Someone tried to sell the clips to TMZ, but we refused to buy or air them because they were an obvious invasion of Erin's privacy. The federal complaint says

I would be mighty stressed too I suppose for her situation. Some scumball films her through a peephole in her hotel room, put its all over the internet, and now because of that she gets paparazzi stalking her now.

There's plenty of asian paparazzi...particularly with the layoffs in the tech sector.

Not really. When spears was pretty fvcked up in recent years, she'd go out partying w/o wearing panties, and paps would swarm her (among other reasons) hoping to get crotch shots getting out of cars. She probably feels like they are just out for more t&a like spears (which they are of course )

anyways she was a hot girl, and now shes known by far more people. i certainly didn't know her b4 this. its not like she got caught jerkin it like with libby hoeler...now that woulda been epic.

i dont see the paps haning around long unless she does something to keep the story alive.

Yeah they definitely need tougher laws on paparazzi. Such as: Make it 100% illegal to take someone's picture (or publish it) without the subject's permission.

No, that extends way too far in to regular journalism, photography hobbyists, etc... (as it relates to public places anyway)

I do believe paparazzi should fall under whatever statutes address stalkers. Then also harsher enforcement for reckless endangerment when they block traffic, chase celebs, etc...

Even the handful of females in America who are talented with a rifle probably would not do that. Strutting out the front door with a loaded gun is more of a guy thing.
And nothing I've seen leads me to believe she even owns a gun.
