Error Loading Operating System?

I have a new build that i bought parts for located below in my signature. I have everything running fine, but now i have to install windows. I put in the windows disc, go through everything, reformat my hard drive etc, then the computer reboots. After it reboots i skip loading from cd and it goes to load from the hard drive when this comes up "...error loading operating system".

I have tried three different XP discs and all have the same problem. The dvd drive is brand new and everything seems to be fine, my only guess is that its the hard drive. Has anyone else had these problems at all? Any suggestions?

Try booting to a floppy and formatting the drive again. Don't do a quick format either, do a full one. Then try reinstalling Windows.

What is your hard drive interface - IDE or SATA?

The hard drive is IDE

I have been doing the full reformat which is even more frustrating since I am wasting hours trying to get it to work only to get an error message.

maybe its a bad hard drive. Can you test it in another system?

No, I cant right now, maybe later this weekend.

I did a number of tests on the hard drive today and it passed all of them fine. Hmm this is really starting to bug me...

Double check your boot options.

Disable all, except for the DVD/ CD driver you'll be using for the installation.

Later you can change the boot order back to HD.

I ran killdisc cleared it out, loaded tony's bios tried it one last time before bed and now it is working!!! YEAH!
