Yeah, been getting 26 MH/s each with my 1070s, without tweaking anything yet. Not bad for an Nvidia card.
I pull just over 29MH/S with my 1070 and pulling ~ 100w from the wall. Amazing efficiency.

What are your card settings?I pull just over 29MH/S with my 1070 and pulling ~ 100w from the wall. Amazing efficiency.
I got a batch of them off Amazon ages ago, I think. Let me see . . .

Get something close to this. You might find better prices elsewhere. Sometimes you have to get them shipped from HK/China which can take awhile. eBay may have some deals on them in NA.

Get them elsewhere. I had lots of problems with those adapters, and ended up tossing about 1/3 of them out. If you can plan ahead, HK/China is the way to go as you can get them much cheaper per unit.
Bad batch?
I have 6 or 7 from MintCell (purchased on ebay, Newegg, and Amazon, separated by a few years) and they all work fine.
+600 on memory, -225 on core, pwr limit 55%. It's an MSI Gaming X. If it's sitting unused it pulls ~ 29.9MH/s, if I'm using it 26-27. I will say this, my AMD cards are much more responsive and nicer to use while mining than this 1070 but the 1070 is hands down the better gaming card and is way more efficient, especially considering that's without a custom bios and without playing with voltage. In general I've really liked my 480's though, they have done well so far, hopefully they last...
Thanks for the responses. FWIW I'm still mining straight Etherb as well.
question about server psu... Guys im planning on building a 7 gpu rig, ive reading about servers psu, so far ive found that with 1 1200 watts server psu + 600w normal gpu i should use without problems all 7 cards, the normal psu should feed the risers, and the server psu should feed the amps needed by the gpus right?
Or should i use 2 normal 750 watts psu?
It's probably cheaper and easier to use two regular PSUs. Just get one of those ATX splitters so you can turn them both on easily without having to use the paperclip method.
Plus, if you do any sort of PC building normally, it's nice to have ATX PSUs around after you are done mining.
