I need to find some kind of logger that can act as a middleman on an ethernet line. It just has to store the data that goes through this line onto like, an SD card or something. I'm doing this for a project, but the only ones I've found run $1500 + and have 1000's of options I don't need.
Pretty simple, record all data that runs along ethernet cord and save it. If it needs an external power source, thats fine. But, if the logger can run on batteries, that'd be better.
Any ideas at all would be helpful. I might look into piecing one together myself if need be.
