If it's a Motorala/Arris as he said, he doesn't even need to look at it to get the model, he can just type 192.168.100.1 in a browser, and he will have all the information he needs.
Really. I don't understand why it's so hard for OP to find the brand and model# of the modem/router he owned/leased.
