You guys need to check your bigotry. Just because someone is bringing attention to whites being killed they are racist??

There is a problem in South Africa, just because there was apartheid there in the past does not give the blacks free reign to murder whites.

Does making the argument that the majority of people where better off under the old government of South Africa make you a racist?

You need to go read the OP again. Talk about disgusting. Then of course it attracted Geosurface, another resident racist and things went downhill.

This place is really becoming a haven for racism that nobody should be proud of.

Eugenics is not synonymous with racism. Drive through any trailer park and you'll see hordes of white people who should be sterilized.

Apartheid is pretty inexcusable but, much as it pains me to admit, SA does appear to be more fucked up now than it was then.

Except that SA was fucked up during Apartheid as well. There was plenty of violence and crime in the townships during Apartheid, the gov't just kept it out of affluent white areas. Also one thing that people often overlook is South Africa's robust economic growth over the past 20 years. Apartheid was a horrendously inefficient economic system. If Zuma turns into the next Robert Mugabe we may someday say that Apartheid was the lesser of two evils, but we are not at that point, at least not yet.

I'm not defending Apartheid or saying its the lesser of two evils.

I'm sure that there was plenty of violence in the townships during Aparthied, the point is that things havent got any better for them since.

Also there is some basis in his complaints of violence against white farmers.

So basically one shitty political system has been thrown out and replaced by a different one that seems to be no better.

Things were more "under control" under Apartheid b/c they had a better system of restraint. This is not a testament to the quality of the living conditions or justice under the system. It is a testament of how to successfully control a population.

Not long before the NPA dropped its corruption case against him, Zuma met with controversy once again. Speaking at the Hilton Hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg, whose Afrikaans community he was addressing (not, he claimed, for electioneering purposes), Zuma said,

Of all the white groups that are in South Africa, it is only the Afrikaners that are truly South Africans in the true sense of the word.

Up to this day, they don't carry two passports; they carry one. They are here to stay.

proof that the OP is full of shit

Further, the translation in the video is a lie; it is not about being anti afrikaner but about being ant apartheid.

OH, and he's a cross forum troll:

Here's a news story that sheds better light on the guy:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2012/dec/18/jacob-zuma-landslide-victory-trouble

But this is unlikely to happen. Zuma's victory can be ascribed largely to the fact that he is a man who is trying to do everything in his power to ensure that charges of corruption – controversially dropped against him under dodgy circumstances just weeks before he became president in 2009 – are not reinstated against him. For this to happen he has to keep his hand on the steering wheel, and is unlikely to cede power to a deputy.

This is a very good point, one which I was not familiar with either. The growth in gdp is indeed rather impressive:

https://www.google.com/publicdata/e...im=country:ZAF&dl=en&hl=en&q=south africa gdp

GDP is grand but if I lived there personally I'd rather the incidence of rape dropped.

South Africa no longer has the highest rapes per capita, but rape and sexual violence is still a problem.[15] The incidence of rape has led to the country being referred to as the "rape capital of the world".[16] One in three of the 4,000 women questioned by the Community of Information, Empowerment and Transparency said they had been raped in the past year.[17] More than 25 per cent of South African men questioned in a survey published by the Medical Research Council (MRC) in June 2009 admitted to rape; of those, nearly half said they had raped more than one person.[18][19] Three out of four of those who had admitted rape indicated that they had attacked for the first time during their teens.[18] South Africa has amongst the highest incidences of child and baby rape in the world.[20] [21]

When South African Apartheid, that other apartheid system finally fell of its its own weight, Nelson Mendella went from a prison cell to the leader of South Africa.

And went on with Desond Tutu to establish a South African world model of black while reconsideration. That was then and this is now, as the now black ruled nation of South Africa had a good start. But Nelson Mendella decided to to resign as head of the nation a decade ago, we can maybe ask, did the former white leaders of South Africa learn nothing? Because if the "whites" try to regain their former lions share of South African national wealth, then why should the majority of "blacks" say, oh no you don't. And re level the playing field again. Whose fault is it?

As for me, I mainly blame White South African greed stuck on stupid, As a south Africa united sharing wealth could stand, but the alternative is a lose lose situation.

Agreed. Honestly I have never been a member of a discussion forum that was so tolerant of overtly racist content. I don't know why the mods are so tolerant of allowing this place to become such a bastion of bigotry.

What?

White South Africans aren't trying to regain power. Most of them have fled to other countries already.

Op was complaining about white land owners being singled out for persecution. That seems a fair thing to complain about to me but there you go.
