Etiquette question - work related

Question for the people out there who have had this happen. Let's say your boss sends an e-mail to you, and makes a grammar mistake that's on your pet peeve list, for example "for all intensive purposes" instead of "for all intents and purposes".

Here is where the etiquette comes in: do you correct them, or do you let it slide, allowing them to continue to make this mistake to other co-workers?

I've never had a problem correcting a boss, its all about tact and respect.

People are such babies about being corrected. I'd rather be corrected than keep making mistakes.
I've had to correct my boss before and was thanked for it, and pointed out other mistakes and we both laughed about those.

But if your boss is like most people, he'll be butt hurt if you say anything, so don't.

I would of corrected him irregardless of weather or not he was my boss. Its just a shame to see such misuse of basic grammar principals.

I would send him a video of 2 girls going down on each other in a car, whilst this dude on a motorbike crashes and then email the team saying that the dude on the bike was my boss...yes we have that type of team where we can do this sh!t at work haha.

We photoshop each members face on to a random image when it's quiet.
