Eureka: TV show

I know I don't have cable or satelite but still I think I would of heard more of this show in this forum if was really "an anticipated 3rd season" as the ads on IMDB tell me it is.

So, is it any good? I kinda like the premise. It reminds me of T. O. Morrow and Will Magnus in the DC comic books.

Its decent... but i have no idea how a show like that can continue while a show like jericho gets canceled.

It's a fairly entertaining original show by the Sci-Fi network. Better than most of the crap they air, but it never quite seems to live up to its potential.

Let me put it this way... I plan to keep watching it because it beats the hell out of the rest of summertime TV

I liked it, but it's rather slow paced so it might put off a lot of viewers. That said, I still haven't caught up all the way through last season.

Seasons 1 and 2 were pretty good. It was light and entertaining, and often funny.

Cable. Jericho was on CBS and the broadcast networks need to meet ratings goals to keep their ad rates up to stay alive. Eureka is on Sci-Fi and a 1.5 rating makes cable executives cream their jeans.

It was ok, I liked the first season, but didn't have enough interest to watch season 2.

i liked the show, but I don't see it continuing very long. Then again, I think most shows should run a 3-5 season run tops.

Well, s03e01 aired last night, and it was quite good, at least up until the last 2 minutes! I'm not a fan of the story/character changes, but oh well. Overall, they're back in action.

That Fisher chick looked like an alien at the end of the show. I thought her eyes were going to pop out of her head.

I like it.
It and atlantis , scare tactics are the only shows I watch on scifi anymore. The show is fun to watch. Just don't plan on watching it looking for a serious scifi experience, it was never intended to be. Just light hearted fun.

I've been watching it since it first aired in the US (two years ago now?). It's pretty good. Not as action packed as the various StarGate series or BSG, but it's got substance. The base premise of the show should allow it to go many different directions I think.

I was a big fan but not so much anymore. The physics and technology in it is way over the top. Everyone has a fusion reactor in their garage they built by themselves. Their robots have T-800 level "learning computers", hover this, backyard experiment 10x more powerful than LHC that... You'd think that they'd make the sci part of the scifi somewhat realistic considering their target audience is generally filled with nerds.

I like it, if they could just freaking stick to the storyline and ACTUALLY DEVELOP IT instead of having meaningless episodes that seem to take place in a vacuum, i would be ecstatic.
