EVA Business Class Lounge

I'm in Taipei right now, with few hour to kill in a layover.

I'm inside the Evergreen Business Class Lounge in CKS International Airport. This place is a small heaven for any ATOT members.

Really nice comfy chairs with 60" plasma HDTV set. Free highspeed wifi connection. Free buffet style Chinese food, with a big selection of soda, coffee, and spirit! (Johnny Walker whiskey, cognac, brandy, etc) And the best part of the lounge? The game room! Game room has its own area from the lounge, with Xbox360 consoles, 24"(?) LCD monitors, and comfy stools. Anyone can just go inside and play different games, and I only see one person inside playing.

Anyways, I thought if you ever fly through Taipei, you should check it out. There is a separate lounge for First Class, and I can only assume how much better it is than Business Class Lounge. Oh, only business class and first class passengers can use the lounges.

And here I was all excited because I got to use the Acela waiting area yesterday at Penn Station...actual chairs instead of sitting on the ground! :laugh:

LOL, I should have known. Okay, I took couple of pics from my chair. I'm not going to walk around to take pics of rest of the lounge, or the food area. I'm not playing the Xbox360 games, because I'm too busy watching my DirecTV using Slingbox. Watching Giants/A's game. Man, I love my Slingbox! I have it installed on my pocketpc as well, and the stream is really good on both my laptop and pocketpc. :thumbsup:

the Cathay biz lounge in Hong Kong is awesome like that too. showers, free food and drink, games, etc. great way to relax before a long-ass flight.

I'm too comfortable where I am right now to move. Besides I don't want to look too stupid walking around taking pics of everything. I just did get back from the buffet area again, and they have like 8 different brands of vodka, all different Japanese beers, etc. and it's all self serve. Good thing I have a good restraint, otherwise I would be too drunk to make it for my next flight.

Nice, flight attendants in other countries always seem more attractive than those on US airlines. Ah well.

But a Hello Kitty airplane? No amount of high-class lounges and hot fight attendants would make me get in a Hello Kitty airplane going 500 MPH at 35k feet

Where are u going? I layed over in taiwan last week but I was using Singapore Airlines. I used to use EVA air's evergreen deluxe class, so I get to go to the lounge as well. I think they just renovated that lounge, it looks slightly different than before.

Oh and go take a shower.. their shower facilities are pretty good (bonus points if you can get a stewardess to shower with )

Hmm i had a cousin who was a flight attendant for eva air. She showed me a group vacation photo they had with the pilots and all the attendants in hawaii. In that picture the pilot was white and the attedants were all asian. It happens over there too! haha

Damn, must be a new lounge. Last time I flew our of CKS they had this sh*tty little business class lounge that was in a little corridor off the middle of the escalators. Definitely agree about the flight attendants though - not half bad looking and very uh...friendly.

Damm, I was in economy plus(EVA airlines) at the beginning of the year and all I got was a frozen DOVE ice cream bar.


Life isn't fair!
