Pretty standard there, if you really want to irritate people just go salv their wrecks while they mission in high sec. They can't even shoot you.

I want them to shoot at me so I can come back and nab them. So far I've managed to pop two Ravens and a Drake in Umokka this evening.

Just watch out for the Domi's. Even a mission fit Domi can kill most cruiser sized ships and below.

edit: Find a low sec area near a market hub, and hunt there. You can usually find some kills in those areas.

No cruiser sized ships for me, I ninja salvage in a frigate but if they decide to shoot at me I warp away & come back in a PvP fit Drake. It's making me complacent though, these guys are terrible at PvP.

Mission runners don't have friends. And if by some miracle they do, they're not going to camp you for days giving up lucrative PvE income. It's a fact.

BTW, when I can build up the intestinal fortutude to grind I do it in the aforementioned domi. I'd have no problems engaging a loot hoover in it since, well, my boat is insured and unrigged and ready to be violenced. With 2 pages of kill rights thanks to ganking miners it's not like I'll risk a real ship to grind standings & sec status. =)

Yeah, I have people eve-mailing me or messaging me about once a month asking for advise on what to do for PvP after I kill them. I will give them advise on their fits as well as simple strategies to take that are effective. I usually also send them a few million ISK so they can replace their ship (if it was a cheap ship, which if they are asking for advise it usually is).

I do like fighting Drakes in the open, since their tank doesn't do much for them. I hate catching them on a gate, since they can make it back to the gate and jump through if I don't have a blob on my side. One thing I have heard about them is that in PvP Drakes can either die fast or die slow, but either way the results are the same. I prefer to have gank fit HAM drakes in my fleet, as they are usually more useful. A tank fit Drake isn't all that useful, as they can't fit support equipment with shield mods in the mids, and they have next to no DPS. No-one with any brains will primary a drake, so they can't even act as a meat shield.

Which is the #1 reason to forgo both tank and gank and fit entirely for ECM. Nope, I mean NO tank. Not even a suitcase II. Without BCUs the already awful DPS of the drake will be even more pathetic, so your choice of HAM, assault or heavy launchers won't matter much.

Requires a high SP falcon alt behind the wheel but by the time they realize it's not a bait or wet noodle DPS drake your poor man's falcon has half their gang perma-jammed.

If you're engaging regulars with this tactic they will start primarying drakes -- and at that point you can call it mission accomplished.

I could use some help. With pent up demand post hulkageddon there are now over 100 in my home system's ice belts (Osmon). The guys two doors down are jetcan mining ice. Mackinaws, hulks, the works. I'm running out of sec status on my ganking alts and simply can't pop any more of them.

I'll handle all the logistics of battleships, weapons & smartbombs -- just need people to show up and asplode those automated bastards 23x7.

I have a sec status of -9.9, but I can pod over and warp to the location and light off smart bombs if you can provide the BS, some I-stabs and SBs. I can handle the rest, even getting the warp in with a Cov Ops.

Actually I could do all of it myself, but I doubt I would take the time to move the ships over there, as I get pretty lazy with this game. I often plan on doing some care-bear activities, but almost always end up just scouting with my alt, and killing targets I find with my main.

Out of all my kills, I only have 1 exhumer kill, so it would help pad my stats against those evil miners. I usually end up shooting at combat ships, since miners are few and far between in my neck of the woods. http://www.nawti.net/?a=pilot_detail&plt_id=39347

You could join our corp. There are a lot of asteroids in our home systems, and they nearly never get mined. I find medium and large Grav sites with the best ores in the game all the time, but since no-one is around that mines them they sit unused until they despawn. You could always come and mine those. I can't say that I will help you, but I have sat around and provided protection for miners once before.

As for an actual mining corp, I am not really sure about that. There were quite a few members of our corp that mined on a regular basis when I started, but they haven't been on in a while. I never see miners around where I live, so I can't even tell you of any other mining corps.

Apparently their CEO (Kartton) disbanded the alliance and sold off assists (Caps and Cap BPO's) to pay for his honey money or something to that effect. From the SA forums it seems he was angry that people blamed him for the losing sov by not paying their "space bills" fiasco so he did the greatest of all "Fuck Goons" move.
