LoLz - If you think that the entity known publicly as goonswarm is somehow gone from the game then you are mistaken. They will reform into something new. Frankly from the gist of what I've read on the SA and Goon forums most were bored with the game and wanted to go back to causing tears in Empire/low sec etc and did not want much to do with being a 0.0 "grr.....serious business.....grr" internet space empire alliance. This action was seen more as a mercy killing by most of goons. If anything this probably has freed them from being responsible for anything in game and now they can go back to what they've always love doing and that is causing space tears in empire.

No, I am not naive in thinking they are entirely gone. I am simply happy they got screwed over. I haven't met a goon I like, sadly I think a lot of them are probably decent people but when they gather as a collective stupidity takes over.

My general feel is many goons are glad to be free of the shackles of 0.0 ownership and management. The new focus will be on empire tears and t1 hull blobs. About time, empire has become more stale and boring than ever.

Oh, and the guy trying to get into a mining corp: where you at? It may cost me several hours of grinding to recover from the sec status hit but I feel it is my DUTY to cure your desire to mine.

EDIT: I just looked, and it was indeed the one I was thinking of. I almost caught him before, but I let the idiot who put together the fleet run it, and he wasn't that bright. Luckily he is gone now. Congrats on the awesome kill though! I wish I was there for it.

I just dropped 400M ISK on a new Arazu, Mega, and Oneiros, so I should start trying to make some ISK soon. So far, I have made about 100M of that back passively, so maybe I will go back to some trade. The only problem with that is that Jita is so far away, and when I log in, I can't seem to avoid taking my alt out to find some people to kill instead of getting more supplies.
