I believe in dell's customer service and their shipping dates as much as I believe in the tooth fairy. My original ship date was supposed to be on Dec 28th, but they shipped the very next day which was the 24th. I say they ship with the next couple of days if you chose next day air.

haha, dell always does that. I was waiting for a monitor for a LONG time last summer, and the date kept getting pushed back. I called and talked to a CSR, and really "expressed" myself about the situation. He said he would upgrade my shipping to next day air for free, and that it won't get it shipped out more quickly, but that it would get to me faster after it shipped. He said this was all he could do... I got it the next day!!

Just be persistent with them and you will get it.

Have any of you NOT recieved an order confirmation yet?

I ordered this package on Sunday night. I recieved my Order Acknowledgement email an hour after I placed the order. I have yet to get an Order Confirmation email from them, and have called twice to find out the status of my order. Neither person was able to find any record of the order. I also placed my order with overnight shipping, and have yet to recieve anything today, so I am a little worried that my order might have slipped through the cracks.

mpitts: it's very possible it fell through, but I would call them again and make sure before you order another set. I ordered on the 24th which was Monday and I got them today.

OK, here is an update. Just got mine thru Fedex. :Q

1 huge package (speakers) and 1 small package (joystick and headphones)

Very decent. Not bad for $154 at all.

I ordered on Christmas day and got my Order Acknowledgement and Order Confirmation within 5 minutes.

What do you think of the extras? Are the headphones and joystick pretty nice?

Got my order today! I haven't hooked everything up, but the speakers are impressive-looking! The joystick looks pretty cool too...one of those twist handles. The headphones look A LOT better than I imagined them to be!

I'm glad to hear I am not the only one who has this problem. I just reordered (using a different credit card) and the Acknowledgement and Confirmation emails came within minutes of each other.

I am not too worried about the other order. I don't think I will ever see it.

eeeh.. when am i going to decided to jump on this..

this could end up costing only $130

that 10% rebate should work for all of the stuff... speakers, joystick, and headphones (labtec was aquired by logitech just a little while ago)

i just don't know though, i have a good aiwa stereo now.. bahH!

All I know is that if my order gets pushed back even once, I'm cancelling my order right away. There's no way I'm putting up w/ Dell's famous push-back-the-ship-date-on-the-day-it-was-supposed-to-ship. Besides, last time that happened, they "happened" to find the PDA that was on "backorder" and shipped it out that day.

Instead of printing off the 10% rebate form from the Geocities website, look in the small plastic bag that came with the joystick. Inside is that same form attatched to a Logitech ad.

I've reordered these speakers (even with a different cc), and I still can't get Dell to send me an e-mail confirmation. This is so annoying, has this happened to anyone else? I know mpitts was able to reorder these speakers.

min came within 5 min... not bad, as for the 10% rebate, yes, ill find an actual coupon.

Im not sure if there going to let this through... this is a package, and they would have to count it as "one item" as the rebate form says

chances are it will be rejected, but none the less, its still a sweet deal at 154

at $130, we would almost be stealing it

Ordered, acknowledgement and confirmation e-mails came within 5 mins, on or before jan 2nd. I chose next day also.

I replied to the Order Acknowledgement email asking why I had not yet recieved an Order Confirmation email and I recieved this from a CSR:

Please contact us at 1.800.879.3355 ext 43784 to provide this information. Without this information, your order will automatically be deactivated. Thank you for your quick attention to this matter.


Try calling that # and finding out what the deal is.
