I called finally and they had the orders sitting in limbo land...still not sure what happened, but it should be coming..thanks for your help guys.

I ordered mine late on the 23rd,no problems with the coupons,opted for the next day free shipping. The confirmation email said, "expected shipping date On or before Dec 28, 2001",,but they shipped on the 24th from Cordova TN. about 70 miles from my house. I received them on the 26th. I hooked them up in a small pile in the middle of the floor to a MD player,not exactly the ideal evaluation setup,at full volume they seemed just a little harsh,,but they are going to be great. I was going to give them to my GF,,but I think it would be overkill,,they would never be turned up even halfway,lol.

Well... I called up Dell at the Customer Sales Department and I got it straightened out. They said that my order was being canceled/error each time (I tried ordering 2 times) because I had next day delivery option. Anyway, I'm going to get the speakers on ground shipping. Oh, well. And I got the January 2 or earlier info too. Well, thanks for all the help guys.

Why don't I ever learn? I just got off the phone with Dell to confirm that they CSR (yesterday) upgraded my order to Next Day Air. After waiting on hold forever, I finally talked to someone who said there's nothing mentioning an upgrade. Great. So I ask her to please upgrade to Next Day for me, and see if it's positively going to ship out tomorrow (12/28). I also mention that it should be a free upgrade. I wait and wait, and she finally comes back.

CSR: "I've fill out the form to upgrade you shipment to Next Day Air....It will mostly likely cost you a bit extra for the upgrade"

Me: "Well, I'm sure it's free. If you're on the internet, I'll show you where it is"

CSR: "I'm looking at it right now sir, (she then reads the first page of the Dell Home page that says free ground shipping)"

Me: "Wait, I'll show you (I then procceed to show her by putting it in the cart and estimating the shipping)"

CSR: "Well, sir, I know that ground shipping is free but Next Day Air is always more expensive"

-at this point I get that sinking feeling in my stomach, whenever I deal w/ Dell's "Support"-

CSR: "Sir, I will go ahead and upgrade you shipping and it will be reflected on your account"

Me: "Uhm...it will be free right?"

CSR: "Sir, I will upgrade your order, and it should be reflected on your account. If there's any trouble you can always give us a call back"

-at this point I start to feel woozy-

Me: "Okaay....is there anyway to confirm that it's in stock and it will ship out tomorrow?"

CSR: "Well you put your order in on Sunday (12/23). We didn't do any processing on Monday or Tuesday. So your order went in on Wednesday, was processed, and should go out tomorrow."

Me: "Well, I had some friends who put there order in on Sunday and have gotten their order already. I just want to make sure that it's not on backorder or anything like that."

CSR: "I can't speak on behalf of your friends' orders, but it looks like it will ship out tomorrow. If it is on backorder, you will get an email letting you know"

-at this point my love-hate relationship with Dell loses all the love-

Me: "You know what? Can I just cancel my order? I think I'll just buy it from somewhere else. How long does it take for the cancel to go through?"

CSR: "It could be up to 96 hours for a cancel to go through"

-I'm thinking, you can charge my credit card in seconds, but it takes 4 days to cancel an order that hasn't left yet???

CSR: "Let me transfer you to someone who can cancel you order for you. Is there anything else I can do for you today?"

Me: "You can't cancel my order?"

CSR: "No, I'm going to have to transfer you to our.....blah blah blah"

-at this point I am passed out on the floor clutching my phone-

Me: (weakly) "Whatever, I just want to cancel my order"

I am on hold AGAIN....for a long time. I finally cancel my order. She asks why. I say, just because.

I've ordered from Newegg.com for $160 shipped. I spent $4 more, and didn't get those headphones or joystick (both of which I would have given away). BUT, I've ordered from a company who's customer service has been stellar and I've never had any problem with them. This way I can support a company I really like, rather than one who keeps on giving me headaches. I loathe Dell. If anyone sees me ordering from Dell, come over and shoot me, because someone has obviously taken over my body to place orders on my computer.

Anyways, thanks to LucJoe for posting the deal and good luck to those who are waiting right now.

Sorry to hear that story. It is really ridiculous!!! I will deem it as a miracle if they really can ship out anything on Dec. 28th!

i just check at fedex, to ship a package of this size/weight would cost almost 100 bucks for me.

lets say they pay 1/2: 50bucks!... and they ship it for FREE NEXT DAY

haha, damn dell isn't too smart

I just saw the Klipche Pro Media's in Best Buy tonight... nice sound and BASS.. but for $300+Tax this is fire hot..

i just ordered the bundle, it says it will ship out on jan 3 and when i checked the order status, it says "Currently one or more items are not available. Every effort is being made to complete your order." i hope this ships out on time

Sorry to all you guys that had to deal with those ass clowns over at dell, my order was extremely prompt.

OMG, if you've been following this thread, you'll know that I cancelled my order today (12/27). I just checked the status, and it was shipped out today!! :disgust: :disgust: This is the 2nd time that Dell has shipped it out the day that I cancel my order. I had a PDA on backorder and the day I cancelled (2 days before it was supposed to ship out), Dell shipped it out. There were others on another internet forum that experienced the exact same thing. I firmly believe that Dell is full of s**t and if you cancel your order, they'll bump someone else's order and send yours out.....hoping you'll just keep it and they'll get their greedy paws on your money. If you know me, you know I'm not the paranoid type, but this is too much. Maybe it's all freak coincidence. Either way, I'm staying away from Dell like the plague.

Did I mention I loathe Dell?

Forgot to mention, i haven't tried my joystick out yet. I'm thinking about selling it, does anyone know if this thing is worth keeping? It looks nice and all, but I never play flight sims so I guess I wouldn't really have a use for it...


I loathe dell also, but as long as they have deals like these I can deal with their crappy service

I ordered the set yesterday, and got the 1/3 shipping date.. I called a cust service rep and gave her hell. I told her the site said they were in stock so why werent they shipping today? She said well sir my computer shows 300+ off those in stock, I think we have to build them and thats why it takes 5-7 days to proccess your order. I said "Mam, you don't build this it aint a computer, could you please put a rush on this order?". She then said "Sir, We can not put a rush on it untill 5-7 days after you placed your order."

Anyways Im pretty miffed, they are in stock, they're just not shipping them...

If anyone else gets there packages let us know!!!!

I just got off the phone with CSR Brenda and she had very little info on this matter. I asked her what exactly the story was with it saying delayed, but still showing it shipping today and all she said was "it looks like its on backorder". Yeah, thanks, that helped. Then she said to check my order status again this afternoon because there may be a chance it will go out.

Gee thanks, Dell.

grrrr.... yesterday, dell said my package would ship today.

today, the ship date is gone, and a note is added about one or more items not being available at this time.

just as long as i GET them, I can deal with some delays

this might go through.. i ordered monday, and it says it will ship today (28th). the thing is, i got credited in my ebates account. i didnt get credited during the ADA880 fiasco

Just got back from CompUSA to play with the z560's. These rock

I turned the bass knob all the way down and there was still ample bass coming through. Hmmm...my neighbors aren't going to like that Just wanted to let you know that for $150 these are sooooo worth it BTW, they were $199 at CompUSA.

I havent been charged yet either for them.. Allthough someone from DELL called to verify my address, and said he would put a rush on these speakers as it sounds like Id had a hard time with them...

HE WAS ACTUALLY NICE! it was amazing.
