Inspired by this thread, have you ever discovered that you actually know someone from ATOT (or any other online forum) in real life, but didn't make the connection previously?
Vermont is a pretty low-population state, and especially in some areas people tend to know each other, or know someone who knows someone, that kind of thing. I was constantly bumping into someone who'd go "Oh? Hey I think I know your Dad," or something similar to that. A day or two later I'd get a call from my dad saying how so and so mentioned that they had seen me.
So I started thinking how odd it'd be that with all of these Vermonters suddenly posting, that what if I actually knew one or two of them, just not by their online/ATOT username. Then I started thinking about some of the stuff I've posted here, with the assumed privacy/anonymity I had up until that point.
Point is, would you be worried/embarassed if it turned out that you actually knew someone from ATOT, and suddenly they were able to place a face to your username, and all of the random crap you've posted over the years?
