Also, to a lesser extent, Pinky and the Brain. Although I have also rewatched some Animaniacs and it's held up well, with plenty of humor that appeals to adults that simply flew over my head when I first watched it. Pinky and the Brain is less funny because it's just the same gag over and over again but I have to say, hearing Pinky say "NARF!" never seems to get old.

The TV shows sucked balls. The movies were great. The cartoon was surprisingly dark for a kid's cartoon, but still on the fence about it.

Highlander 1: great

all others: travesty.

The TV series is fucking Dr Zhivago compared to highlander 2+
I used to love the TV series; haven't seen it for some time though.

When I was in grade school my favorite radio shows were The Shadow and Sky King. I was happy when a new version of Sky King was aired on TV in the early 50s. Other early TV favorites were Milton Berle, Mr. Peepers, Our Miss Brooks, the Republic Serials like Commando Cody.

During my teen and early adult years I also watched Soupy Sales, Whirlybirds, Men Into Space, Science Fiction Theater, and Sea Hunt. I recently found a source where I could buy the Men Into Space and Science Fiction Theater series on DVD. I still like them.

I'd be willing to bet that Soupy Sales would still be funny, but I think most of his stuff was lost in a fire.

Many of the shows mentioned in this thread are almost totally unfamiliar to me. I guess most of my (so-called) adult years have involved watching movies, rather than TV shows, when I want some entertainment.
