Ever go see a movie by yourself?

ya, but I don't really go see movies much. Home Theater is just nicer these days.

It's kinda fun to sit by random people and strike up conversations if your brave. I've tried it a couple times, though I'm not very brave. kinda fun though.

No. People who drink alone IMO have a problem.

I don't see why anyone would need to have someone else sitting next to them while they watch a movie.
Ive never gone alone to the movies, but today I wanted to do it. The only thing that stopped me was the Best Buy sign and my love for gadgets.

In fact I probably will go for the first time this week.

Last time I saw a movie alone, I felt so pathetic that even my pathetic self was better than that. Now I just don't see movies. I wait for DVD, or the rare day when my friends actually agree on a movie to catch in the theatre. (Hasn't happened since LOTR 3)

We've had enough of these threads to get the idea that people DO go the the movies alone, and that those who flat out refuse to are most likely insecure social magnets who can't take joy in some things without having somebody with them to hear their inane observations about it.

I did one time when I ditched summer school. Watched episode 1 at like 11 in the morning.

My buddy does it all the time, we will go on like Friday nights to the movies by himsefl.

I see most of my movies on my own...the popular mainstream ones I'll catch with friends, but since I'm a movie buff, I enjoy the freedom of seeing whatever I want, whenever I want. I don't have too many friends that'll go see the random indie/foreign movie, so it's easier this way and I get my weekly movie fill.

I like movies, and none of my friends are big fans of them... so lately I have been going alone.

Usually when I date, I take her to movie at least once.

I always go to the movies alone. When I first did it, I felt uncomfortable (like everyone is noticing that I'm alone) but I'm used to it now so it doesn't bother me. The next one will be Casino Royale.

I have no problem doing that. A theater is a good place to hide if you want to be away from things for awhile and you can always use the excuse 'Sorry, I couldn't answer I was in a movie'.

I never realized there was a connection until now! Going to movies = getting laid. No wonder my mom always told me to avoid the back row.
