Ever had housemates that don't clean up after themselves?

My current situation is one just like yours. I'm sick and tired of cleaning up after people so I have just stopped doing it. I keep my stuff in my room, and do my own thing. I dont use the trash can in the kitchen, I take alll my trash directly out to the big garbage can outside. I dont use plates, I dont use pots, I dont use anything. I dont clean up after people, and now the house is a complete mess. I'm going to be moving out in about a month so I could care less.

Like I said, there isnt much you can do when people are just lazy ass f*cking slobs. Your best bet is to move out and find a place by yourself, thats what im doing, and I cant wait.

you sound like the exact same situation as me. Only i'm not moving out in 1-2 months

I've just finally given up on cleaning the house every few days for the both of us, now it is a mess.

I lived with filthy people for the past year - I didnt consider it my duty to clean up after them, so I essentially stopped using the common facilities, and they got filthier than ever. Time came that we all moved out, I did my part, they didnt do their part, and the end result is that I am getting screwed on my security deposit because of them.

So not only did I have to live amongst filth, but it got me in the wallet in the end.

i room with friend +his dad. his dad had a stroke 6mos ago so i deal with his mess. but friend i almost have to beat him down to get him to clean up his pig mess everytime he eats/cooks. now i just put his sh!t in his room and he cleans it

Pretty much the same thing happened to me at the last house I lived in. It was with different people than my current housemates, but I lived downstairs, so the upstairs was pretty much theirs. They didn't take care of it and I ended up having to pay for 1/3 of a nasty steam cleaning bill for the carpet.

I have 2.
1 has his room completely dirty, but it is his room so I can careless
the other has spontaneous actions and leaves a lot of stuff laying around at times. Eventually it gets picked up.
