They should make an orange duck dish at panda express. Peking duck inside orange chicken breading and sauce /drool.
expensive (and delicious) peking duck (2 common preps, one with pancake and the other with buns). The below pics aren't even that good, the REALLY good places will pull the skin off the meat and scrape off the fat.
It's a long complicated process. So when you order 24 in advance, does that mean they are cooking the duck for 24 hours?
Or is it 1 hour of cooking and 23 hours of hahahaha smoking in the back laughing at fan tong gwai lo pogai who is about to pay alot of money for a duck
The best local food often comes from street vendors or holes in the wall so this doesn't really surprise me.Friend of mine went to China and bought peking duck right off the street for $5. He said it was better than any stupid restaurant version he'd had.
NO! that's only for white people.
Asians and people who cook for a living know that the fat is the best part!
what the fuck is that first pic?
Did you get duck 3 ways or something?
unrolled pancake showing the duck, sauce, and (i think) scallions.
besides, REAL asians were doing the prep for white people
ftfy
Why?
the buns/pancakes/whatever are good with skin only, but I prefer putting a bit of meat in there as well.
peking duck in peking, or beijing duck in beijing. pick one.
