Ever wonder what became of "the" bully from your childhood?

I'm sure we all had run-ins with kids as we were growing up, but I'm guessing there was ONE person who really stood out as your chief tormentor.

Anyway, I got to wondering about "that guy" recently and decided to see if I could figure out what happened to him. Turns out, after high school, he just sort of lingered in our crappy little hometown and slowly succumbed to a combination of diabetes and alcoholism. The social security death index lists his date of death as being his 30th birthday. A friend of mine who has remained closer to home than I have informed me that the guy finally killed himself.

I HATED this kid. He was the bane of my (and many others') existence from grade school onward. Now I just sort of feel sad and weird about the whole thing. :\

I know exactly what happened to the bastard.
He ended up breaking in to my parent's house and several others, stealing stuff (namely firearms) and ended up in the state pen for at least 10 years.
He is probably out now or would be on parole for that but I have a feeling he wouldn't be out for long.

The biggest bully I grew up with is on the NY Sex offender registry for raping 2 young girls at a park near where I grew up. He still lives in his father's house too (that's what current address they have listed anyhow). Don't know if his dad is still alive or not.

His picture on that site is scary.

The dude tried to strangle a friend of mine after bringing him into his bedroom and turning out the lights. Locked him in and everything. This dude is sick in the head.

Heh I had a friends brother as my bully. He was two years older than us and would torment me in 4th grade. But by the end of 5th grade I grew a foot and put on about 40 pounds. I beat the piss out of him one day in front of another friends house and was never bullied again in my life.

One just got out of Juvy and went to jail (because of one of our altercations). Another was arrested for armed robbery, the third is just a lowlife junky in our hometown.

I had a "A Christmas Story" moment with one of mine in 8th grade. He had messed with me for years and years and I finally just flipped out on him at the bus stop one day after he grabbed my backpack and emptied it into a snowbank. The best part was listening to my parents tell his parents their son had it coming when they called that night to bitch about me beating the crap out of their precious snowflake who would never do anything like that.

Possible. But he came from a good family with well educated parents. Why he decided to pick on me I will never know. afaik he never bullied anybody else before or after me. Maybe I pissed in his cheerios one morning. Or maybe he felt I was a threat to his relationship with his brother? Either way I beat the piss out of him. And with my size difference to everybody else didnt have a problem with bullies after that. Being 5'10" 150 pounds in the summer before 6th grade will do that

My childhood was a long time ago but you never forget. This guy kept getting in worse and worse trouble and by HS graduation, was given the choice of Army or jail (I don't think they do that any more). He died in Viet Nam, shot by a "friend" over a card game.

I was shocked at how vindicated/happy/relieved I felt at his funeral.

He went to the marines and made it to a master chief or whatever the marine ranking is similar to that. He's the guy that runs to side of the groups screaming at them during training runs and drills.

Oh and I guess he also went back and was banging some teacher all of us drooled over in HS.

So yeah...I guess he did ok.
