I have Everest startup with Vista but everytime it starts up the UAC popup comes up and asks me for permission to start Everest...how do I disable this without disabling UAC?
Several of my programs do the same thing. I searched for an answer, but all I found was to turn UAC off, which is what I eventually did. There should be someway for the administrator to ok sw it is safe to run and get rid of the pop-up. It seems that this is a common complaint and something that Microsoft needs to correct somehow.
