A few contenders:
1. 1997 Acura Integra Type R - I can hear the guffaws now, but to me this is still the best handling FWD production car ever made and accomplished with no electronic trickeration.
2. S2000 - These are already up there, 20 years from now most of them will still be on the road.
3. Already classics 300ZX, Supra, RX-7 The only thing that knocks these down a little is that it's hard to find them in stock form, especially Supra's, most of the TT's have been purchased and modded like crazy. Maybe I'm wrong but those Fast and Furious stickers and ridiculous paint jobs on some of the Supra's I see aren't doing them any favors in this regard.
4. Acura NSX - yeah already a classic to some, I wouldn't mind owning one, they still look teh sex to me even the older models with popup headlights.

As for dream collector's cars:
2000 Porsche 911 GT2 --> this one might be a little more difficult to acquire, financially.
Because the 993 GT2 was only made up to 1998, and the 996 GT2 started production in 2001?

My bad...I thought the 996 Turbo and 996 GT2 both started production in 2000.
Make it a silver 996 GT2 for me, year unimportant.
