when i was downloading songs tonite EVERYONE one them was messed up i tried all kinds of songs like after a few secs. of playing it would just go from the song to sounding like the comp. froze up or something...but i eventually find the song im looking for thats not messed up after a bunch of downloads...so i call up a friend and ask him if hes got any songs sounded like that he said ya a bunch....is been happening to me for the past few days...and im wondering if anyone else on here is getting this and what the deal with this is if anyone knows??

I had the same issue on a Christina Aguilera track but nothing else but then I download mostly European Trance so will probably be unnafected.

I havnt DLed music in ages to be honest.
My cousin noticed that a couple of ludacris tracks that he DLed were Fcuked up.
So cant the RIAA affect people outside of the US?

The second A in RIAA defines their legal reach. However, that shan't stop them from being asses and hosting fake files and such. But then again, if you are downloading or buying the mass market demographically engineered pop du jour then you deserve what you get.

Well RIAA's legal reach is limited to the US. I live in Argentina and have noticed that some songs are screwed up. Either they sound like crap (the sound level goes up and down to zero) or they play for the first 5 seconds and stop. I guess I was downloading from someone in the US. However, most of the songs I downloaded were ok. Anyway, if I really like the songs, I buy the album.

Same friggin thing happened to me. Last 3 albums I DLed were blank or the same song looped. What is happening to this world when you can't DL free music anymore?

Same thing for EDonkey and Emule.
