Twin Frozr has a good reputation, but I'd still lean towards EVGA just b/c they're so much easier to deal with if you have an issue down the road.

I had to RMA my previous MSI card (gtx465 twin frozr II) because one of the fans on it was dying. I had no problems at all with the RMA process, total turn around time was roughly 11 days, and they ended up sending me a new card (but same model). Everyone else's mileage may vary, but my own personal experience with them was about as good as I expect RMA processes to be.

By the looks of it Anti.Machine the MSI outperforms the evga card by a 4-5 percent and it seems as if they have good Customer Service so...I dont think you can go wrong with either card really.

MSI has a pretty good RMA reptuation actually (even here in Canada). Also note that the EVGA parts with SKU ending in -KR only have a 3 year warranty (http://www.evga.com/support/warranty/) requiring product registration, the same length as MSI, however MSI warranty is based on serial number. EVGA products with SKU ending in -AR have lifetime warranty which is a bonus.

I used to always get EVGA cards but went MSI Twin Frozr II because at the time it was $30 cheaper than comparable EVGA cards, came with more games, and EVGA did not have that specific dual fan cooler model available. For you, either card is good.

Heard EVGA is the best for nVidia.

But, read lots of reviews about the new Twin Frozr III version and they look awesome. Don't know if it's available for the 560 Ti ye though but might be good to have a look.

MSI is great!

I've used quite a few MSI products. Only had one RMA experience with them and that went very well.

MSI warranty is by serial # for 3 years from date of manufacture. Certainly nice if you plan on selling the card down the road.

Thanks for all the advice, im def leaning towards a EVGA card. Now im just wondering if a 560Ti will perform decently into the future? Or should I bite the bullet and pay the extra money for the 570?

IF you have the money, i would say grab a 570 since with a lil OC (or superclocked) its on par with 580.

If you are tight on cash, then just grab the ti as resale will still be good for when the new cards come out.

Either way, you will get desirable performance.

I don't care for that EVGA dual fan model. If it were the reference HSF I'd choose it. Of those two - MSI.

I would go with EVGA just because of the warranty. The twin fan design is icing on the cake IMO. EVGA rarely does custom coolers like that.

I think you can think about gigabyte GTX560 Ti, its two inclined fans is big and quiet. I think MSI 560 Ti is a little loud

What does reference refer to?
When Nvidia produces a chip, they make a "reference" design to demo the chip and provide to reviewers/manufacturers to show what works. The manufacturers then either riff off the reference design (which is mostly what EVGA has done, single fan, big heatsink, near exactly what Nvidia's original design was) or do something different with their card design. MSI throws 2 fans at it, for instance.

So are you saying a reference design is a "well they made the original card but we tweaked, added, took away some things and this is what we came up with, for better or worse"?
