eVGA 6800GS CO AGP

400mhz core, 1100mhz memory, 12 pixel pipelines. I'm guessing this is still NV40 based though, but at least it's clocked a bit higher, and with evga's step up program it seems like it might be a decent interim upgrade for someone who's not ready to go pci express. Well, assuming you upgrade to pci-e within 3 months of purchase.

It's been posted here before, I think it was in one of the "6800GS AGP" threads. But you can get that performance from the XFX, it seems to use normal GT PCB(maybe left over stock?). The normal eVGA version, is an all new design, I'm betting the "CO" version is the GT designed board. But I could be wrong, and I could have waisted your time.

Hmm, I thought the CO designation from evga indicated a new copper heatsink they're using.

Hey PC Surgeon,

You got it backwards. The EVGA card is a reference GT design. The XFX board has a completely redesigned power section (with 10 caps and three heavyduty coils). Check the photos on NewEgg and you will see what I mean.
