How well does it overclock? Is it relatively stable? Any regrets? I should have asked these questions before I ordered but I didn't want the deal to go by or the rebate to expire. Any comments on this board is appreciated

To go along with this motherboard I also purchased a Q6600 and the eVGA GTX260 SC newegg deal.

There are alot of 750i threads about, but this one is the most general so i thought id post here.

Just picked up the board, worked right off the bat. LOVED the power/reset buttons built into the board, i could make sure it posted before hookin up the power/led/reset/ etc.

For reference my last board was a msi p6n platinum. I picked up a e8500 recently and the p6n just wasnt hacking it. HAd to take the NB to 1.5v to break 3.6ghz, and even still it was way hot and barely faster.
Within 10 min i had the 750i running my e8500 at 4.2. It even auto selects the (what it thinks are the) proper voltages for OC.
So you just tell it, run at FSB 1800, and you don't even choose to up the voltage. the board then says. Your OCing, let me crank your voltage to 1.35.. which worked flawless. In the end i cranked it up to 4.35. 4.4 needed 1.45v (the board thought 1.4 would be enough but it wasnt) and ran around 75c @ load. But 4.35 runs at 1.375v. (board though 1.35, so i did have to up it .25 for stability) which keeps me at 69 @ load, which im more comfortable with.
I also had to manually increase the NB to 1.45 for anything over 4.25 to be stable.

ive only had the thing for two days, so i can't speak of reliability, but first impressions are tops. After buying asus, abit, msi etc. this board is Easily my instant new fav, and my new fav brand.

Ill be glad to comment on any specifics, just ask

I have the asus 750i; p5n-d. I have an e7200, so my story is different from someone's with a quadcore, but the vdroop for me is substantial- so I'd hate to imagine what it would be for a quad. Not sure if that is a chipset or manufacturer dependent issue though.
the 750i doesn't support any of the nvidia video features either- those 'hybrid' ones. the 750a does, however. I can't change anything but the fsb in nvidia's control panel either
On my board, the NB has erratically placed (yet unvarying) instability bands for the fsb. I can run my e7200 @3825mhz w/ 9x1700/4 w/ stock NB volts... but running it at 9.5x1650/4 takes 1.6 more volts on the NB.... odd to say the least.
Also... my x-fi which worked on my nf4 board, despite a notorious instability I never knew about, refuses to not screech/scream/crackle/pop/snap in this board- dunno if it is the board though.

I'm mostly happy though- I'm gettin an ati gfx card and have no need for nvidia 'hybrid' tomfoolery, overclock from bios, and will likely be getting an e8400 to easily run 4ghz cooly w/ good volts (i can read the die-stamping on chips like a pro + decode to hand pick it like a friggin puppy @ the pound). Hopefully I can coax my snorlaxin' x-fi into working for papa.

I've never had reliability problems with this system from the mobo- only lack of ram, crappy nvidia gfx drivers, x-fi issues abound, and the occasional unwillingness to wak from S3 (which I attribute to using a 3rd party multiplier management program instead of speedstep... given my 9x multiplier used as max)

Just like ugzz, I upgraded from a P6N to an eVGA 750FTW. The 750 is running a Q6700@3.5 default, with massive amounts of cooling provided by the Zerotherm Nirvana HSF. I think I am on BIOS S17 for the board, but many users have been bitten by the video corruption bug with the board as well ( I have yet to see it with my setup).
My only gripes are the HDD LED lead being incompatible with the pinout on my Antec case. There was a workaround posted on the eVGA forums for it, but I have yet to tear back into it and try and resolve it. The GTX280 card takes up so much space, I don't have room left for my fingers to fit in there. Even with the card out, my wiring job is hard to rearrange.
