Is this deal even worth going to the store for? "No Rainchecks, No substitutions, limited to stock on hand". Does Frys stock a decent number of sale items like this, or will it be a low volume teaser? This card is still listed as straight $179.99 online. Makes me worry that it might be a wasted trip.

Yeah, that was so hilariously unhelpful.

I don't seem to be able to reach the store when they are closed. I am sure it is just a problem with my phone, though. Why don't you give them a call for me on Christmas to see how many they will be stocking? Maybe you could call them for me in the morning before they open to see whether I should be there when they open? Better yet, do you have a model number for that phone of yours? Sounds like a hot deal.

Thanks for the thoughtful reply. It was pretty stupid of me to ask whether anyone knew if Frys actually stocks these kinds of deals for the day after Christmas, as opposed to the typical black friday type teasers that you have to camp out for. :roll:

I recently moved from MI to WA, which has a Frys. I much preferred the MI situation because Frys B&M rarely have good deals, but Frys.com have good deals all the time. Problem is, now that I live in WA I have to pay 8.8% sales tax on all Frys purchases, including online ones. Bottom line: consider yourself lucky.

I would be glad to make a call for you when the store is open.
Why would you want to make a call to the store (or any store) on xmas day where everyone is enjoying his ore her day off?
I've never had any problem calling ahead prior making trip to ther store just to be sure they have plenty in stock, which is the point I tried to make early in a more hillarious way.
With the g/c like this one, you bet they probably have more than enough for the entire nation supplies, lol.
The advertised price is not exactly "earth shaking" price and with a $70 rebate which may turn many folks off.

Dude, it was a joke. Have some laughs man.

BTW, I'm pretty sure they have about 10 of these. Most people wouldn't buy one unless they need it because there's a huge rebate. I found a ton of FAR stuff left when I came to the store 1 hour after it opened. Bought $131 worth of stuff and will get back $118 in rebates.
