eVGA 7600GT CO RMA's ?!

i might of seen a thread or 2 where people were saying

* they're good video cards
* some of 'em are DOA or crapping out and getting RMA'ed.

i don't care that much about the ultimate speed. i just want a rock solid reliable 7600 GT. from that point of view, is there a brand that's better than the eVGA ?

Dunno. I really like eVGA, since I've never had a problem with them. However, I have also had good experiences with Gainward and Leadtek. If you don't want to go with eVGA, I'd have to suggest Leadtek then.

FWIW, my eVGA 7600GT CO has been working great for about two months now.

Mine has been fine for over a month now. I also leave it oced on the memory at 1600mhz or even higher sometimes. I have no desire of rmaing.

i too have read that. i had wanted to get one of the evga 7600gt since i have the evga 6600 GT and it has been good.
if you go to the forums in evga site, unfortunately there are a bunch of issues with the 7 series, including the 7600 GT.
i hate to give you the bad news as i found out too.
that has lead me to think about the bfg or xfx. have not decided yet.
