What other software like ati tool for nvdia? I want to test for artifacts.
What BIOS version do you have? In case you haven't seen, most people who cannot reach GTX memory speeds have a newer BIOS (.13). Downgrading to an older one (.08) fixes the problem.

Glad to hear it You would've been the first confirmed case of .08 that can't hit GTX speeds that I have seen.Originally posted by: DerKaiser
Okay, I take it back. When I first tried for 750 memory, I had a Half-Life 2 glitch, but I think it was unrelated. Now I can hit 750 core/800 memory and it runs Episode 1 just fine. I also don't see any problems while running 3DMark06. Cool.

On another note, back when Tiger Direct had the $30 rebate for a few days, a lot of people seemed really skeptical about how they handle rebates.
This rebate was through OnRebate.com, and it was by far the most impressive rebate process I've ever seen. It prints the completed form for you, along with a mailing label so you don't risk getting the address wrong. They had my rebate processed and approved within a day of the evenlope arriving, and they'll transfer the funds to me via PayPal.
Has TD turned over a new leaf or what?
Also, I see that the GTO is no longer on their website. Possibly a sign that supply is running down?

People have problems with onrebate because to properly process you have to pay them that no-rebate fee, otherwise they scour your rebate for a single error, trying to deny it, plus they dont allow you to do resubmissions. Just read up on them, i personally haven't had problems either . Just remember to follow every single step they mention and you'll get your money from them.

I think their process is tougher than staples easy rebate. The Staples Easy Rebate you just go to their website and fill in the code you received on the receipt that prints out after purchasing the product, and you wait about a month.

I've been through Staples Easy Rebates. I agree it seems great and perhaps it is, but they totally screwed up 2 of my rebates, were of absolutely no help, and 5 months later I am still dealing with it.
Glad to hear you've had better luck than myself. Staples is a great company no doubt, but there Easy Rebate process has been anything but easy for me. Their submission to HP was missing a bunch of info (which I know I included), and their only advice to me was "resubmit." I obviously don't want to resubmit when the rebates are already outstanding with HP. Luckily I can call HP and I pretty much have things sorted out with them. Unfortunately I still have yet to see my money.Originally posted by: gamefreakgcb
Thats odd, the staples easy rebate customer service was always great for me, even stuff I filed after the "submit bt" date, they validated .

Man, my card must suck.
I went to the .8 BIOS and I can reach 690/760, anything higher and ATI tool artifacts like mad.
Oddly enough, I set it to 700/800(a speed most people can seem to hit easily), and ran through 4 straight sessions of 3DMark06.
I watched the darn thing for artifacts and never caught one.
Is there some kind of problem with ATITool and Nvidia cards? With the yellow dot craziness I saw at those speeds in ATITool
I thought 3DMark would bomb out right away, but it never happened.
Any thoughts? Or did I just get the retarded card?
