It's not dead. The link in the OP is to Dell Home, whereas the coupon code is for Dell SB. This is the correct Dell SB link.

Edit: You can get 1.5% cashback through fatwallet. For me in Missouri, it works out to be $158.39 after tax up front and $136.01 after cashback and MIR.
