Good morning PSU masters
I plan on buying either an evga supernova p2 650 or 750.
For gaming with a gtx 1080ti, 650w is enough so either will be fine.
However I have a couple of doubts because both of them are priced exactly the same ($120), and some review sites say that either model 650, 750 or 850 are all equally as good.
But reviews on tomshardware are more in depth, for the P2 650w and the P2 750w.
It says better 5VSB rail for the 650 model, 7.7 vs 10.6 ripple supression, shows better Transient Response tests, and is more silent. (the only worse thing is 17ms only hold up time on the 650 vs 22ms on the 750)
1. Are all the psu's always built equally the same, which means that those reviews are accurate?
2. Does those slight differences between them actually matter? (they should since they are on the pros and cons) making the P2 650 better?
3. Would it be worth buying the 650 vs the 750 for the same price? (yes 650w is enough for a 1080ti but in the 10 year warranty period an average gamer buys new gpu's at least 3 times)
Thanks in advance
