Are these cards a good deal at $829

The only decent review I've been able to find is from thefpsreview. It would be replacing a 1070 in my daily driver.

From a quick look around, that's a good price for that particular card (in this market). Should be offer great performance compared to your GTX 1070. I go for it, but it's too rich for me this year.

Its certainly not a "good deal" as its significantly over MSRP.

BUT... in today's world, you have to take what you can get. So if you need a card, and this one is available, and you can afford it, its fine.

I have one. All I can compare to is the 2080TI FTW3, its faster in F@H, and I paid over $1000 for the 2080TI's when there was no premium. I would say its a good deal.

Wow, EVGA has done some weird things with their pricing. They have 3080's that cost less than this, which is what I had on my mind when I saw the price.

the fast FTW3 cards are a lot more than the base model cards. The 3080TI FTW3 is $1430 !

If you go to newegg, the cheapest 3080TI is $1800 and they go from there to 2600 and, there are 2 higher than that ! at $3354 and $3932.50
