Which one should I get? Would Sprint compatible Nexus One support WiMax? EVO 4G is a little too big for my liking.

The N1 won't support WiMax. Pros of the Evo 4G are 4G, larger screen, better camera, conference camera. Pros of the N1 are better quality screen, probably better battery life. They both should have similar performance from a hardware perspective. Can't really go wrong with either device, both are exceptional.

I can't in all good faith recommend the Nexus One. I also sincerely doubt they'll release a CDMA N1.

If you have Sprint 4G in your area, I'd get the 4G in a heartbeat...

As an N1 owner, I'd say Evo 4g. It's android with sense in an HD2 body. Looks like a great phone.

Yeah, its very unlikely that N1 will come to Sprint.
Google already axed the NI for Verizon so I can't see them making a CDMA N1 just for Sprint.
And if Google do bring it to Sprint, it would fail miserably just like it did on T-Mobile.
NOBODY wants to buy a phone unseen.
Plus when you have the EVO available, who in their right mind would get an N1 ??

There just seems to be too many problems with the Nexus One. The 3G reception issue still hasn't been figured out either. People should just wait since there's always a new Android phone coming out every few months.

they do. it's called the Samsung Moment.

AMOLED is great. The angles in which you can see it is awesome. There is no angle that it doesn't look good at. Obviously the only downfall of them is being in direct sunlight where they're hard to see but every other situation it's better in every way.

I wish to hell Sprint would roll out 4G in LA, I'd be all over it, and dump my DSL...

I don't quite understand why everyone seems to think these first-gen AMOLED displays in the N1 and Incredible are so great. Aside from viewing angles and black levels, they're actually worse in pretty much every aspect. See my post in the incredible vs evo thread for an idea of why this is the case: http://forums.anandtech.com/showpost.php?p=29738666&postcount=24

Everyone thinks they are so great because they've seen them and they do look much better. Doesn't matter what any bloggers can come up with which may or may not be BS, a picture is greater than a thousand words.
