No, it's really not. Being alone isn't the same as being lonely.
I came here to post this.
I came here to post this.
IMO killing urself is easy. Having the courage to face your problems is the true bravery.
Thinking like that is what landed me in psych ward last year & resolved absolutely no issues I was having, and only made things worse. A lot worse.Calling police.
There is no middle ground.
Sad.
Never thought I'd reference Brady Quinn as a source of wisdom but his post-game comments after yesterday's game were right on point I thought. He basically said we live in a world where we communicate with eachother more than ever, but nobody really knows how one another is doing.
The saddest part of that is the little kitty.
Not seeing this as applicable being that the ex-coworker clearly wasn't communicative, and since his actions prior to his suicide were unlikely any more expressive than his words.
That is right. Suicide is the easy way out. Getting up every morning to face the world is the real challenge.

For openly speaking my mind about my depression I was severely punished & am still being punished for it all for over a year later. Far as recovering from it all, I still don't see it happening for at least another 6mo.
Any and all progress towards my goals has been nearly halted, all for nothing. Time is only wasted when there is no progress.
Shut the fuck up, man up, don't be a bitch, don't talk about your issues.
Don't talk about it, be about it, just kill yourself & get it over with.
There is no middle ground.
im surprised more people dont kill themselves. i see people all the time with unbelievable problems--divorce/problems with spouse or ex, financial problems, job pressures, etc..., youd think more of those people would give up.
Was partially expecting the suicide stemmed from being ex-coworker because of being fired or something.
You don't know what pushed him to do it & "help" may not have resolved his issues.
I wish I wasn't too chicken shit to do the same.
A coworker of mine killed himself earlier this year. He was having marital problems when he wife discovered his alcoholics anonymous journals. She then turned those journals over to the sheriff's department. The journals believed contained discussions of some terrible actions that he made in his earlier years dealing with kids, that was about to be exposed to the world and would probably result in prison time.
I personally liked the guy a lot. He was a very religious person would tried to help by sponsoring others thru his dedication to AA. This is the first time someone that I was this close with committed suicide, all I can say is that it is a confusing experience to say the least.
Sorry about the dick post. YGPMhanged/hung

Originally these words were pretty much interchangeable, but hanged eventually came to be used pretty exclusively to mean executed by hanging.
Noted!
