Maureen McDonnell was sentenced Friday to a year and a day in federal prison after an emotional, hours-long hearing in which the former first lady of Virginia apologized publicly for the first time since she and her husband were accused of public corruption.

The Elite looks after itself, so I won't be surprised if she gets off on appeal. But if not, a couple of years reading the Bible in prison garms would do her well. She got what she deserved.
