Was having a conversation about this the other day with one of my friends. How did whoever relate Jesus's resurrection to a rabbit bringing kids eggs? *confused*

Yes, yes it is.
And Easter has virtually nothing to do with it in this day and age.

You can make an argument like that for xmas, but besides some chocolate bunnies easter isnt really all that commercialized.

It's not that complicated. Easter is in Spring, which has always been associated with a time of "re-birth" and a celebration of fertility and growth. Rabbits and eggs are pretty symbolic of fertility.
By and by, the Christian holiday of Easter, due simply to popularity and timing, absorbed the pagan rituals and celebrations, and along with good 'ol Capitalism, gave us modern-day Easter.
At least, that's my explanation. *shrug*

Me - "Jesus' resurrection"
Ex - "Hahahaha. So really, what is Easter for?"
A resurrection is pretty ridiculous if you think about it.

obviously easter is about sex. ResErrections are used to make eggs and the kids are kept healthy eating the eggs so they can grow up and have ResErrections too, lol.

That's like saying you should know about Chokusai and Obon. She's not from nor does she live in a nation that recognizes easter
