Hello all. I want to insert a pulldown box in excel, but honestly don't know how. Theoretically, I'll have a column of numbers (say in grams), and next to it I'll have a pulldown box. Whatever the user selects (be it lbs, gals, liters, etc), I'll have it run an if/then type formula to convert the numbers of my original column and spit them out in the column next door. Like I said, theoretically. I think I can get around the formula once I figure out how to insert the box.
Can anyone shed any useful info on this or possibly a good weblink with useable information on the subject?
I've searched googled for the basics, scrolled through microsoft's worthless excel homepage, and figured I'd stop by here before I got the attitude check over at experts-exchange.
