Received a Note 3 for lifestyle review this week: The screen is flat out stunning! The S - Pen which was quite good on the Note 2 is even better I am also very pleased with the battery life. I use my phone a lot during the day and have not yet had to worry about finding an outlet to charge the 3 during my work day. The phone feels really good in the hand, lighter than the 2, love the less rounded corners. Also, while the 3's screen is only a bit bigger than the 2, that bit does make a difference, my old tablet sits in its bag & I automatically reach for the phone instead. These are my initial impressions of the device but so far I can say this is the nicest phone to have ever graced my hands.

I came from a Samsung Galaxy S3 and I think the Galaxy Note 3 was a HUGE upgrade.

The screen is so much better than the S3. It seems like its a different technology.

How are we supposed to know about a product that isn't even out yet? I'm doubt even the people at Samsung know for sure.

My guess: yes, though you may have to wait for a software upgrade to the Note.

I just hope the Galaxy Gear 2 will be a big improvement over this year's Galaxy Gear.

Although I still like the Galaxy Gear, the only problem is the relatively short battery life.

"Galaxy Gear 2" is supposed to be a Nike Fitbit type device, no word on the second generation GG watch yet.

They're selling "refurb" GG's on ebay for $199

I think GG2 should be a combination flexible OLED display with an always-on ePaper display, kinda like a Pebble but with a color display for a watch band. Using the color display less would improve the battery life.

The screen is flat out stunning! I used to use my phone on the road but grab my tablet at home. That tablet is gathering dust at this point. This phone is so fast & text is so easy to read that it is more than enough.

I really like how fast the snapdragon 800 compare to the exynos 4412 (I had a Note 2 on T-Mobile but the power button was broken and I have no way to turn the power back on after my cat cause the phone to drop into the floor). The screen is gorgeous, the reduction in weight is also noticeable.

I hope Samsung implements nano battery tech into the Galaxy Gear 2 and make it last longer than the current Galaxy Gear.

Well, when your whites are calibrated well into the blue part of the spectrum everything is going to look better.

FUD my ass. EVERY S3 and Note 2 I have seen out there has a very characteristic blue tint at whites . Even my Note 3 has the bluish tint unless set to professional photo or Movie mode.

And I rather trust this guy over AT on this matter: http://www.displaymate.com/Galaxy_S4_ShootOut_1.htm. When AT can't write DDR3 reviews to save its life I won't be surprised their phone reviews are subpar especially after their official SD card / removable battery disdain jerkfest.

Ah, my apologies, I didn't know Samsung was iterating so fast. If the Gear 2 is, as these folks are reporting, being announced at MWC, it should definitely work with the Note 3.

Anyway, just excited for it and looking forward to joining the club.

That isn't the concern. Bad IMEI later down the road is (banned phone). Also, if it's unlocked then it was probably resealed like mine from Negri Electronics.

You can usually tell if a major eBay seller is trustworthy. Many are trusted at least as much as Negri Electronics.

From my research it looked very trustworthy. Anyway, it's been working very well for now. If something happens down the road, I will cross that bridge then.
