The IP (205.254.226.31)is registered to WestNet Communications (http://www.west.net, an ISP based in California. Which tells you absolutely nothing except they are hosting the site on their servers.

My guess is that it is a hoax just like the SETI one, however unlike the SETI hoax before the site looks legit and not something sombody threw together in five minutes.

I just took the initiative to send an email to their sales department to find out if the whole thing is a hoax or not. Additionally, if it isn't a hoax, I asked for more info in regard to SETI possibilities, and pricing info.

Unlike the fake " vector processor " Seti cards, the mPower cards are legit.

I e-mailed them back in August for some prices and here is their reply:
