Existing Shaving Bumps, Best way to get rid of them?

Any particular after-shave good for curing shaving bumps / ingrown hairs? I was stupid enough to try out the Quatro and it ripped the heck out of my face. I'm back to my Mach 3 but I have some patches of bumps. Any suggestions?

i never heard of a white guy complaining about razor bumps. I thought only black men got them. I used to use magic shave. SMells like sulphur. What did you use NFS4? I know you must have had them at some point?

In my experience all you can do is let them go away on their own. If you try to mess with them they just get worse and look like horrible pimples.

I use Nivea aftershave balm, by the way, and it's nice. Also I recently started shaving in the shower, and I think that has helped (prevent them, not cure them).

sometimes they go away for a while, but I've never figured out how to completely elliminate them. I only get them right by my adam's apple.

i use a shaving gel made for sensitive skin, that helped reduce them, but they are still there
