Yes I am! Canon 7D is out for delivery! I got a 2-3pm meeting unfortunately. I think FedEx touches down at my house anywhere from 12-1. Do I need the door slip to pick it up? I was figuring I could swing by my house and grab it if there's a delivery exception (no I'm not gonna wait for the man to show up so I can sign it... although that would be cool).

Any later than 3pm = traffic, so I might not swing by my house after all. Maybe I can just head straight to the pickup office at night....

Lol and i guess part of why i want to pick up the door slip during work is so my parents don't see it. Yes I'm old enough to live on my own but as an Asian engineer in the silicon valley, I guess this is how things work. Andw hile I manage my own spending, the wrath of Asian parents yelling at you for not saving your money (gee am I not saving enough by living at home and eating parents' food?) for a down payment on a house is rough!

But I have never had that happen, Fedex will always deliver early if it's already at the local sort facility. They haven't held out on me yet.

@OP: so you didn't get your package today either?

FedEx came at 3pm. Not home. Door tag. Unfortunately this is the terrible FedEx home Delivery that operates 8am - 4pm. I couldn't pick it up today.

Regular FedEx allows me to go in til like 730 or 8pm or something. Perfect for after work. Well, I told them to hold it for tomorrow and I'll go pick it up. I checked the online tracking and it didn't say anything about holding. I have a feeling they'll forget and try delivery again and I get screwed... Blah!
