The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is a region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean in which a number of aircraft and surface vessels are alleged to have disappeared in mysterious circumstances which fall beyond the boundaries of human error, piracy, equipment failure, or natural disasters. Popular culture has attributed some of these disappearances to the paranormal, a suspension of the laws of physics, or activity by extraterrestrial beings.[1]

While a substantial body of documentation exists showing numerous incidents to have been inaccurately reported or embellished by later authors, and numerous official agencies have gone on record as stating that the number and nature of disappearances is similar to any other area of ocean, many incidents (see below) remain unexplained despite considerable investigation

It is important to note that you can take pretty much any maritime polygon with a similar area and you will have the same amount of disappearances. These things happen.

the ship sank in 1918. I hate to break it to you, but radios don't always work as planned, especially in bad weather and in 1918.

An airbus jetliner disappeared yesterday without a mayday....do you find that to be the work of the Bermuda Triangle as well?

There needs to be an IQ test in the forum registration form.

But we'd miss you ever so terribly

Maybe, but TFNN would have a massive influx of new members

I watched a good documentary about this. Apparently there are a lot of methane pockets underneath the sea in this region which is unusual. That and it was a magnetic field.

what did i hear? something like shifts in the ocean floor unleashing huge pockets of gas (methane), bubbles to the surface wrecks the surface tension, boats lose bouyancy and go down? seems solid explanation to me.
